Total Punk (2012)
Following quickly on the heels of their stellar full length, WWIII, Crazy is another fun pop blast of retro tuneage from one of my favorite groups of Canadians, the White Wires. The A-Side original and the B-Side Poppees cover will fit right in nicely with their last record. Chances are, if you've heard The White Wires before there won't be any surprises on this 7", just great catchy songs. If you haven't heard The White Wires, I don't know what you are waiting for , you're missing a hell of a band.

The White Wires - WWIII LP - White Vinyl (/200) & Black Vinyl
Dirtnap (2012)
Ever since I heard the song Girly Girly Girly on their first self titled album, I've been a huge fan of the White Wires. I've made it my goal to amass a collection of every single record they release, and I'm happy to say that 2 more have been added to the pile. The white vinyl was limited to 200 copies and it sold out on the Dirtnap website even quicker than I expected it to.
The fast vinyl sell out is great news for the White Wires, a band that really deserves to get their due. For a few years now, they have been cranking out fuzzy, bouncey, hook driven pop that's ultimately focused on being fun and having a great time. What's on this record is not radically different than their prior output, it's just another chapter in a book that I want to keep reading. While their first album holds a special place in my heart and will be tough to knock from it's position as my favorite White Wires album, I'm pleased to say that the White Wires show no signs of slowing down and deliver once again with their new record.

V/A - Beau's All Natural Brewing Company Compilation 7" -Thanks @chrispager !
V/A - Beau's All Natural Brewing Company Compilation 7" - Thanks @chrispager !, a photo by Tim PopKid on Flickr.
This is a 7" that a local brewery in Ontario, Canada released that was sold with a specific limited beer that they were selling. Big points to them for a really awesome idea. Unfortunately, that made it a bit difficult for folks like me in the US to obtain. Luckily @chrispager was a great man and picked one up for me, helping me keep my White Wires collection complete. The bands on this 7" are The White Wires, The Flatliners, Chris Rayburn, Elliott Brood & Teenage X. Pretty varied rock and roll sounds overall, but I'm here for the White Wires who provided an alternate version to the song Ha Ha Holiday from their fist LP. Couldn't find this new version online, but here's a link to the album version of the song.
